A few days with my nephew :)

Been an awesome couple of days with my nephew - the little chap is coming up for 18 months and is a total star. Exhausting though - not entirely sure how all you mums out there do it. So difficult to get anything done when there is a little chap or chapess demanding attention and being so cute it is almost impossible not to want to spend every second just marvelling at them as they discover new stuff, entertain themselves and interact with the world. The house feels rather empty (and yet a lot tidier) now he has returned home. I have to admit I don't miss those noisy toys!!!

Sleep once more alluded me - so to keep myself occupied I turned an apron into a bag - what ya think?

I had bought some eyelash wool and was at a loss as to what to do with it - so I decided to attempt to crochet it into a blanket and am rather pleased with the result - really lightweight but soft and warm.

Today I have mostly been sorting out my crochet hat collection ready for sale. Here are a few pics (i love my polystyrene heads!!)

First Post eeeekkk!!

I have been wanting to start a blog for ever but have always been scared that I won't have anything interesting to say...

So here it is I have finally gotten round to creating a blog - in part to share the crafts that I have been making and in part to keep a record of my new life in the country. I hope anyone who may read this enjoys the little window into my weird, boring, craft filled world.
